Kinetic, the February 2010 Club Template release, has a versatile and flexible design, styled with scrupulous precision, and founded on the functional, feature rich Gantry v2.0 core.
The theme's impressive collection of preset styles, and complimentary module variations are key to the design's appeal, offering an array of stylistic tools to refine your content. Kinetic also sports a triple level splitmenu, similar to the menu system deployed on the RocketTheme site, as well as Fusion still being available.

NOTICE: Kinetic has limited support for IE6. The primary restrictions are placed on the preset settings (only low is available), the menu (fusion menu is replaced with suckerfish) and RTL support is not present.
Gantry Framework Version 2.0
Kinetic is the built with the Gantry Framework, version 2.0, which includes powerful features such as menu item control, RTL support, custom presets and many more. This is all on top of the first generation features, making Gantry the most noticeable, and far reaching feature of the template.
Gantry is, as a basic definition, A framework used for assembling, building and maintaining a RocketTheme template. It is an advanced platform for dramatically extending the capabilities of the entire theming system of Joomla.

8 Style Variations in High, Med and Low Modes
Kinetic has 8 preset styles / style variations with each having 3 different detail levels: High, Medium & Low. You can edit these combinations with the Gantry administrator at Extensions → Template Manager → rt_kinetic_j15.
Additionally, each style variation has 4 colour modes for the Showcase area as well as a transparent option which again, you can configure in the Template Manager.
NOTICE: RokNavMenu 1.7.13+ is required for the Kinetic Menu to work.
RTL Support
Template side RTL support from the Fusion menu to the Typography. This is in conjunction with Gantry version 2.0's RTL support for the automatic flipping of the grid system.
If Joomla is set to RTL mode, in its language settings, the Kinetic template will automatically adjust to its RTL layout. The modules will invert inside a row, such as showcase-a and showcase-f being in alternate locations; the various template elements such as the breadcrumbs and typography will also flip; and also the menu will adjust accordingly (ensure you are using the latest version of RokNavMenu however).

While you get a choice of 6 simple colour variations for Crisp, the real power in the interface are its simple and sleek lines. Crisp helps to reduce clutter in the Joomla admin which makes it easier to find information fast.

Because the sidebar accordion menu changes the basic layout of the Joomla admin there are some cases where displaying the menu is not such a good idea. So you get full control over when the menu appears. You can set it to auto hide, toggle it on or off or let Joomla hide it as it would any time the top menu is disabled - especially while editing content items or module parameters.

Session refresh and session warning
You wont ever lose work or get locked out again now that you have a countdown clock built into the Joomla admin warning you of how much time is remaining in your session. Just to reinforce the fact that your session is about to end the browser will prompt you to refresh the page to avoid getting logged out.
Update notifier and Server time
Joomla Update Notifier - A Script that lets you know when or if you need to update Joomla.
Server Time - In those instances where you work in a different time zone to your server or general audience.
